IGLOO Corporation (CEO Deuk-Choon Lee, www.igloo.co.kr), an AI-powered security operations and analytics platform company, announced the completion of registration for two artificial intelligence (AI) and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) patents aimed at enhancing AI-based security operation efficiency and accuracy.

The newly acquired AI patent aims to enhance the performance and accuracy of AI models by improving the Automated Machine Learning (AutoML) technique, which simplifies model development. By extending the AutoML process, which automates machine learning steps such as data preprocessing, model selection, and tuning, to a two-phase approach, it is possible to improve the fairness and reliability of models—issues previously identified as AutoML limitations—and secure the efficiency and accuracy of machine learning model construction.

The SIEM patent is a technology concerning the analysis and processing method of large-volume log data, focusing on increasing the efficiency and speed of responding to security threats. It works by converting large quantities of log data collected from security equipment into a structured format for easy analysis, then classifying it by type for parallel distributed processing. By applying parallel processing techniques instead of traditional batch analysis, it accelerates data processing speed, thereby enhancing responsiveness to rapidly increasing cyberattack attempts.
