IGLOO Corporation Acquires Two AI Patents for Security Monitoring Automation

- IGLOO Corporation Obtains AI Patents to Enhance Functionality and Accuracy of AI Security Monitoring Automation
- Accelerates 'AI-driven Open XDR Implementation' Based on Its Unique AI Technology

[June 17, 2025] AI-driven security. Smarter operations. IGLOO Corporation leads the future of cyber defense. IGLOO Corporation (CEO Deuk-Choon Lee, www.igloo.co.kr), an AI-powered security operations and analytics platform company, announced that it has acquired two artificial intelligence (AI) patents for security monitoring automation. Leveraging its patented AI security technology, IGLOO Corporation plans to strengthen the competitiveness of its next-generation Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platform based on eXtended Detection and Response (XDR).

The recently acquired AI patents focus on enhancing the functionality and accuracy of AI-based security monitoring process automation. IGLOO Corporation has automated the creation of security threat reports using language models, thereby elevating the capabilities of security personnel and improving work efficiency. Furthermore, it has enhanced model performance by training AI models with methods for distinguishing legitimate and false positive security events based on uncertainty indices and Explainable AI (XAI) indices.

Meanwhile, IGLOO Corporation is focusing on implementing 'AI-driven Open XDR,' which unifies the detection-analysis-response system, centered around 'SPiDER ExD,' its XDR-based next-generation security monitoring platform that integrates AI security operations and analysis know-how. This approach maximizes security operations efficiency through diversified data collection, AI/machine learning-based automated threat analysis and detection, threat scoring, and playbook-based automated response.

Deuk-Choon Lee, CEO of IGLOO Corporation, stated, "IGLOO Corporation has secured over 30 AI patents and is dedicated to patent development and technology advancement to acquire advanced security capabilities. As a domestic security company with the most AI patents, we will continue to lead the security market by securing competitive technological assets."
