IGLOO Corporation Selected for KISA 'AI Security Product and Service Commercialization Support Project'

- Combining Verified AI Detection Models with AI Semiconductor Technology… Leading the Globalization of Domestic AI Security Technology
- Accelerating the Development of AI Security Products that Enhance Work Efficiency, Productivity, and Stability

[July 09, 2024] AI-driven security. Smarter operations. IGLOO Corporation leads the future of cyber defense. Leading domestic AI companies are collaborating to develop core products for securing Korea's AI security competitiveness. IGLOO Corporation (CEO Deuk-Choon Lee, www.igloo.co.kr), an AI-powered security operations and analytics platform company, announced that it has been selected for the '2024 AI Security Product and Service Commercialization Support Project,' promoted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) for the commercialization and globalization of domestic AI security technology.

IGLOO Corporation, in consortium with Rebellion and Codeville, will develop an 'AI Security Assistant' system that combines domestic AI detection models, AI semiconductors, and user-friendly interface technology. IGLOO Corporation focuses on developing hybrid (classification, explanatory, generative) AI models that explain the prediction results and rationales of AI models. Rebellion is responsible for building AI security servers based on its AI semiconductor ATOM, which supports Small Language Model (SLM) acceleration including generative models, while Codeville is tasked with implementing visualization features that enhance understanding of the results produced by AI models.

Security organizations can expect to enhance work efficiency, productivity, and stability by adopting the 'AI Security Assistant,' which integrates Korea's unique AI capabilities. While enabling quick and accurate judgments based on hybrid AI model prediction results, it also ensures high productivity through the application of a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) with superior performance compared to power consumption. Furthermore, its stability allows the use of generative AI functions in an appliance form operable even in closed environments, without the risk of data leakage.

Deuk-Choon Lee, CEO of IGLOO Corporation, stated, "We expect that the development of an on-premise security system, which integrates Korea's unique AI detection, AI semiconductor, and visualization capabilities, will lay the foundation for the self-reliance of our nation's AI security technology."
