[18 February 2016] IGLOO SECURITY gears up for overseas export of security control service. IGLOO SECURITY (CEO Deuk choon Lee, www.igloosec.com), a leading company in the next generation integrated security control company, announced on 18 February that its ‘IGLOO-CERT’, the professional response team for emergency accidents composed of professionals with long experience in the security control field, joined the FIRST, the biggest invasion accident response council in the world.
The ‘Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams (FIRST)’ was officially launched in 1990 to fluently share information between invasion accident response institutions worldwide and respond with security accidents. Currently, it has 298 Computer Emergency Response Teams (CERT), governmental institutions, financial institutions and security companies in 64 countries in US, Asia and Europe. In Korea, major institutions, including the Korea Internet and Security Agency Computer Emergency Response Team Center (KrCERT/CC), the National Intelligence Service, the Financial Security Institute and some security companies, have joined the membership.
IGLOO SECURITY, leading the security control market in the public sector in Korea, prepared to join the FIRST to reinforce response to emergency accidents and extend overseas export of security control service, and as a result, gained membership through recommendation of the KrCERT/CC and CERT Australia and due diligence.
